Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient assignment at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, with on-call periods limited to the first 4 hours when applicable
• Float within scope to like units as needed to support facility staffing needs
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a Multistate/Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• Experience as a travel nurse in an acute care hospital environment
