Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Role Overview: The position is for a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) providing care before, during, and after childbirth. Responsibilities: Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs, assess high-risk conditions, support and educate mothers and families, and ensure emotional and medical needs are met throughout the birthing process. Qualifications: Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and eighteen months of recent acute care L&D experience. Additional requirements may be determined by the facility. Skills: Strong clinical skills, ability to monitor patients, provide education, and support families. Key Duties: Care for women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages, monitor vital signs, identify high-risk issues, and support families post-delivery. Additional Information: The role involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with travel benefits and comprehensive support services.
