Production Planner

Key Responsibilities Take charge of developing, implementing, and updating daily and weekly production schedules using our MRP/ERP systems. Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, and Inventory teams to determine build orders, sequence work, and manage priorities. Identify and track down missing parts to execute assembly processes while effectively managing inventory shortages. Help streamline reporting, production tracking, and planning tools to maximize efficiency across the production floor. Add incoming sales to the Master Production Schedule based on capacity and create the corresponding job packets. Qualifications A minimum of three years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience utilizing MRP or ERP systems specifically for production planning and inventory management. A strong background in durable goods manufacturing where products consist of complex bills of material with both manufactured and purchased parts. Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A highly collaborative mindset with the communication skills necessary to work effectively across multiple departments.
