As a dedicated 1:1 nurse, you will accompany a young male student—who uses a wheelchair and is non-verbal, but does not require ventilator support—directly on his bus rides to and from school, ensuring his safety and well-being.

Position Highlights:

• Work 21 hours per week, providing services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Deliver attentive, individualized care to an elementary-aged male student
• Support daily transportation by riding the bus with the student to and from school
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, communicating effectively with school staff and the student's caregivers
• Uphold thorough documentation and monitoring of the student's needs and progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, especially students with mobility needs, highly desirable
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to provide physical assistance for wheelchair transfers and mobility supports
• Genuine compassion, reliability, and an eye for detail
