Reach Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating stand-up reach forklifts to safely move, stack, and retrieve loaded pallets from high-level racking systems. The ideal candidate has excellent spatial awareness, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and experience working in fast-paced distribution environments.

salary: $20 - $21 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 5 PM - 5:30 AM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up reach truck, order picker, and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the warehouse.

• High-Bay Stacking: Store and retrieve loaded pallets from high-level racking systems (up to [Insert Height, e.g., 30 feet]) without damaging products or structures.

• Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments and load outgoing trailers, ensuring accuracy against shipping manifests and bills of lading.

• Inventory Accuracy: Use RF scanners to scan barcodes, track inventory movements, and ensure correct placement of goods in designated storage slots.

• Order Picking & Put-Away: Assist with picking bulk orders and replenishing pick faces to keep production moving smoothly.

• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct mandatory pre-shift equipment inspections (checking brakes, hydraulics, battery, etc.) and immediately report any defects or safety hazards.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
