Responsibilities Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Temple, Texas. The facility offers individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors and provides inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs. The Dietician approves menus, including modified diets, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation, and nutritional principles. The Dietician monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs. Education Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Experience Minimum of three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with a concentration in nutritional assessment and planning preferred. Licensure Registration with the American Dietetic Association preferred and state licensure required.
