This position reports to Operations Manager and will work in Port St Lucie, FL.About the positionAs Production Supervisor of the Port St Lucie team, you will be involved in applying Dometic values and expectations into the execution and oversight of daily tasks by engaging positively with the team. The Production Supervisor fosters a collaborative work environment by mentoring and motivating team members to provide a zero-incident safety culture, and best-in-class quality products delivered on-time and in-full to our customers. This role will involve regular monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of site performance metrics through direct ownership of shift execution and the support of Lean Manufacturing tools and practices.Your main responsibilitiesOversee all production floor activities to ensure efficient operations, schedule attainment, and timely completion of manufacturing goalsMonitor equipment, processes, and material flow to maintain optimal production outputEnforce compliance with production specifications, work instructions, and safety protocolsProvides constructive feedback and supports employee growth through training and mentorshipTrain and cross-train production to build a flexible, skilled workforceMaintains a skills matrix of all production employeesInvestigate production and quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Materials Planning teams to resolve process, equipment, or design-related challengesChampion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product qualityPrepare and maintain accurate records for production output, downtime, quality metrics, and corrective actionsCommunicate daily performance updates to management and support data-driven decision-makingSupport supervision of production employees and directly supervise Quality Control Technicians, ensuring effective staffing, performance, and workflow coordinationProvide daily leadership, coaching, feedback and support to production teamsAssign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to established procedures and standardsProcess weekly timecards for payroll, approve time off requests timely, hold weekly production floor meetingsSupport employee development through coaching, performance feedback, cross training and skill-building opportunitiesAnnual performance review administration with support of Operations ManagerQualityMeet or exceed company standards for productivityInitiate action to prevent the occurrence of product, process or quality system nonconformanceIdentify and record any problems relating to the product, process or quality systemStrive to develop and implement continuous improvement into all products, processes or quality systemsSafetyPrioritizes safety in every action and reinforces safe behaviors among employeesMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area using the principles of 5SSecures production floor by maintaining proper controls, checks and proceduresConduct operations in a manner that experiences:Degree in business management or relative field preferredMinimum 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, overseeing productionKnowledge and experience in a Manufacturing environment (electronics a plus)ERP/MRP experience required, Intuitive ERP experience helpfulStrong ability to read, interpret, and apply mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.CAD experience a plusExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or similar process-optimization methodologies preferredExcellent customer management skills and experienceDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and drive accountability in a fast-paced production environmentSolid understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and root cause analysis techniquesAbility to troubleshoot process issues, make data-driven decisions, and support corrective and preventive actionsMust be able to read and write EnglishProficient with
