Senior Associate Paralegal - Trademark (US - Remote)

Amgen seeks an experienced trademark paralegal to manage global trademark filings, prosecution, and enforcement across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves collaborating with in-house attorneys, foreign associates, and outside counsel to protect and strengthen Amgen's intellectual property portfolio while supporting broader IP matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage worldwide trademark filings including prosecution, maintenance, renewals, and stakeholder communication
- Prepare and file trademark applications and Madrid Protocol filings with appropriate offices
- Review trademark watch notices and recommend enforcement actions
- Coordinate responses to office actions, oppositions, and cancellation proceedings
- Support domain name portfolio management and customs recordation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years paralegal experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
- Strong domestic and international trademark and copyright law knowledge
- Proficiency with USPTO, WIPO, and electronic filing systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills
- Excellent organizational and written communication abilities
- Four years IP paralegal experience in law firm or corporate setting (preferred)
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry background (preferred)
