Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience with device implants and cardiac ablations.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab unit within a 510-bed facility
• Unit staffing includes 2 RNs and 3 CVTs in the EP Lab
• Uses GE Innova X-ray system, Merge, and GE MacLab Hemo System
• Documentation performed in Meditech
• Schedule is 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends and no call
• 26-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience with device implants and cardiac ablations, including SVT and Afib procedures
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification required, license required if applicable
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

Additional Information

• Perform device implants, cardiac ablations, and Watchman LAAO procedures
• Hospital-provided scrubs required for dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• Facility is part of a large regional healthcare system offering comprehensive cardiovascular, oncology, and surgical services
