Who we are looking for experienced LCSW passionate about providing counseling services that support an individual’s physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional adjustment through recovery provide therapeutic interventions and resource recommendations that address patient goals to achieve personal, career, and independent living goals in the most integrated setting possible value professional autonomy, teamwork, communication, and collaboration to maximize patient recovery What you will get Flexible schedule created by you Paid per hour (not just per visit) Driving, travel, mileage reimbursement Educational programs Growth/advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional and support needs of patients and their families Set measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehab team Assist physicians and other health team members in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient’s health problems Instruct and counsel patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional responses connected with illnesses Participate in care coordination activities and act as a resource to other health team members in identifying and resolving patient needs Identify and assist patients and/or families in utilizing appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives Qualifications Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure in the state of practice Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or acute diagnosis Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required Ability to lift 50 pounds Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times Salary Range: USD $60.00 - $65.00 / Hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Rehab Without Walls® Neuro Rehabilitation
