Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705 (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite) Pay Rate: $32/hr – $35/hr on W2 Duration: 18 month Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst II to support Asset Data Research & Remediation initiatives by conducting data analysis, geospatial research, asset validation, and records remediation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, GIS experience, and the ability to work across multiple systems to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Perform desktop geospatial analysis to locate missing pole assets and identify pole asset information.
• Validate asset locations using tools such as ArcGIS Online, Map3D, Google Earth, and LiDAR.
• Identify missing records across enterprise systems including SAP, cGIS, and circuit mapping applications.
• Review field-captured photographic evidence and document findings.
• Consolidate research findings and prepare documentation for system-of-record corrections.
• Review work order documentation and capture critical information for record accuracy.
• Research discrepancies between field conditions and digital records and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project documentation activities including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to improve processes and maintain best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Geography, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of analytical experience in business analysis, research, or data analysis functions.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
• ArcGIS / ArcGIS Online
• AutoCAD Map 3D
• ESRI applications
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas such as VLOOKUP and IF functions.
• Experience identifying problems, conducting root cause analysis, and developing solutions.
• Experience facilitating or working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong spatial reasoning skills with the ability to interpret maps and multiple data sources.
• Experience with technical documentation, process mapping, and workflow improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree emphasis in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
• Experience within utility or public utility environments.
• Familiarity with Records Management Systems such as SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, or SAS.
• Experience creating reports, graphs, dashboards, and presentations.
