Responsibilities Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi‑skilled and skilled trades personnel according to skill, experience and job knowledge. Trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed. Recommends training to enhance skill and productivity and assists in developing training procedures. Breaks broad strategies down to practical action plans and ensures staff are trained to execute them. Consistently ensures compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings, procedures and other documentation. Manages manufacturing, installation, operation, testing and process operations that have a significant financial impact on company performance. Monitors job and budget performance for all shifts. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s Degree or Apprentice Certification or High School plus 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience or Associate Degree in a trade/technical field plus 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience.
