Accounts Receivable Accountant
Longtown Rural Water & Sewer District #1
Job Description Key responsibilities: Invoice & Billing: Generate and distribute invoices & bills in a timely manner Payment Processing: Process incoming payments ,checks, credit cards, ACH, cash, & prepare bank deposits. Account Reconciliation: Balancing daily & Monthly Collections: Receive payments, post payments, & make bank deposits. Reporting: Prepare daily transaction reports, monthly reports, and assist with month end closing activities Meter Program: Responsible for meter readings upload & download, work orders, etc. Other: Routine office duties. Requirement & Skills: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required: a degree or coursework in finance, accounting, or business preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting, clerical, or accounts receivable role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), accounting software such as QuickBooks and Accrual Accounting. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication, and professional customer service abilities. Company Description Production and distribution of water supply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
