Job Description West Bloomfield Hospital Day Shift Role Overview As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will direct and coordinate the activities of all Patient Registration areas, ensuring prompt and accurate patient scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and collections. You will play a key role in protecting the hospitals accounts receivable and upholding patient privacy. Additionally, you will assist leadership in interviewing, orienting, and training employees to maintain a high-performing team. What You Will Do Direct and Coordinate Patient Registration activities to ensure accurate scheduling, insurance verification, and billing. Protect the integrity of hospital accounts receivable while respecting patient privacy. Assist leadership in interviewing, orienting, and training new employees. Provide constructive coaching and feedback to team members to foster a positive work environment. Influence team members to achieve goals, encourage cooperation, and build trust within the group. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Three (3) years of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility and verification in a hospital or medical office setting. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree. Experience as a Patient Service Representative.
