Manager, Quality Engineering

Stryker seeks a Manager of Quality Engineering to lead quality assurance operations at its Mahwah, New Jersey facility. The role encompasses team leadership, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and operations in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Assurance team with technical guidance and oversight across manufacturing and operations
- Partner with site leadership to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements
- Develop, coach, and retain high-performing team while fostering accountability and collaboration
- Manage nonconforming products, deviations, risk assessments, and corrective/preventive actions
- Monitor quality performance indicators and implement corrective actions for adverse trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 6 years in technical, manufacturing, quality, or engineering role in regulated industry
- Minimum 3 years leading teams, projects, or quality management activities
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environment with FDA and/or international quality standards compliance
- Knowledge of quality systems, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement
Compensation: $141,600 - $236,000 USD Annual
