RN-PACU jobs at the facility in Westchester, NY let you provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients in a hospital setting focused on patient safety and recovery. You will monitor patients as they emerge from anesthesia, assess vital signs, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal outcomes. To qualify, you must have an active New York RN license, recent PACU or critical care nursing experience, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is necessary. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
