Nemours Children's Health is seeking a second Pediatric General Neurologist to join our growing team at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to practice within the largest pediatric neurology group in Florida , supported by a robust academic environment, outstanding clinical resources, and a rapidly growing Central Florida community. This role has the support of a big neuroscience division in a small community setting.

Research Opportunities

Nemours offers a well-established clinical trials and research team , with opportunities to participate in studies and data analyses that span all four Nemours sites within our integrated, multi-state health system.

Clinical Practice & Support

• Dedicated clinical support from 2 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Medical Assistants, 1 RN , and additional floating support
• 24-hour EEG technologist coverage for pediatric and neonatal continuous video EEG
• Efficient care model with the outpatient neurology clinic located just a few floors below the pediatric inpatient units
• Seamless coordination between inpatient and outpatient services

Outpatient Services

Pulmonology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, Maternal Fetal Medicine

Inpatient Services

Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Maternal Fetal Medicine Consults, PICU, General Surgery Medical Directorship, Neurology

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
• Eligible for or active Florida medical license

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
