Senior Paralegal

POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Paralegal provides critical support to the Legal and Compliance function. The role is split between Legal (50%) and Compliance (50%), supporting contract management, corporate governance, litigation, healthcare compliance activities, investigations, policy administration, training, and operational processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Legal (50%) Draft, review, organize, and manage legal documents, including vendor/consulting agreements, commercial agreements, statements of work, amendments, and legal correspondence. Maintain and administer contract lifecycle management (CLM) system (approvals, renewals, key obligations). Coordinate contract execution via electronic signature platforms. Maintain corporate records, legal files, and document repositories. Support corporate governance (board materials, resolutions, entity records, corporate filings). Coordinate legal holds and assist with document collection for litigation, employment matters, audits, and investigations. Support outside counsel (gather info, organize documents, track legal spend). Monitor litigation/subpoena/legal matter calendars and deadlines. Conduct legal research as requested. Assist with intellectual property administration (trademarks/patents as applicable). Compliance (50%) Coordinate and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs. Assist with compliance monitoring, audits, and internal reviews. Support healthcare compliance training administration (completion tracking and records). Coordinate annual compliance certifications and disclosure processes. Assist investigations (hotline reports and policy violations) by gathering documentation and maintaining files. Support Material Review Committee (MRC) operations (documentation, approvals, meeting materials). Monitor compliance metrics and prepare dashboards/reports. Support third-party due diligence (vendor compliance documentation and risk assessments). QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent education/work experience). Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program and/or law firm experience preferred. Minimum 7 years progressive paralegal experience, including senior/lead experience with minimal supervision. Ability to independently manage complex legal and compliance matters and elevate appropriately. Healthcare compliance program experience strongly preferred. Pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences or similarly highly regulated industry experience preferred. Experience with contract management systems and electronic signature platforms. Strong understanding of corporate legal processes and contract administration. Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations: Anti-Kickback Statute; False Claims Act; FDA promotional regulations; PhRMA Code; Sunshine/Open Payments. Excellent organizational/project management; strong attention to detail and documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written/verbal communication; professionalism, discretion, confidentiality. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Experience with CLM systems, compliance management platforms, and e-billing systems is a plus. PAY $148,000 USD - $180,000 USD #J-18808-Ljbffr
