Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Bartow FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will be part of a caring agile team that values reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors contractors and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas access points parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and report policy violations maintenance concerns and suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures assist with access control and restricted area monitoring and provide clear information to employees and/or visitors during changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
