Physical Therapist Assistant

Encompass Health seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support inpatient rehabilitation patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries. In this role, you’ll implement treatment plans under the direction of a physical therapist, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training, and monitor and document progress. You’ll educate patients and families on safe movement and home exercises, help maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a patient-centered, growth-focused culture.
