The Opportunity

GagaMuller is supporting the delivery of major hyperscale data center developments across the United States .

As the Senior Scheduler , you will play a key role in the planning and scheduling function on behalf of the client, ensuring integrated project program are developed, maintained, monitored, and communicated throughout the full project lifecycle.

Working closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, Design Teams, Construction Teams, Commercial Teams, Project Controls, Commissioning Teams, consultants, and contractors, you will support program development, schedule analysis, progress monitoring, delay mitigation, reporting, and planning governance from design through commissioning and client handover.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of some of the United States' largest mission critical developments while driving planning best practices across multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

1. Scope & Delivery Management

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated master project schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
• Review contractor schedule submissions and ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual requirements.
• Monitor progress against approved program baselines and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
• Perform critical path analysis, program optimization, and schedule recovery planning.
• Support integration of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational milestones into the overall program.
• Ensure program data is accurate, current, and aligned with project reporting requirements.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers, Design Teams, Construction Teams, Commercial Teams, Project Controls, Commissioning Teams, and contractor planning teams.
• Participate in planning workshops, progress reviews, coordination meetings, and program discussions.
• Present program updates, milestone status, and schedule performance to client stakeholders and senior project leadership.
• Coordinate program inputs from consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Support program ownership across all project workstreams.

3. Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify and assess program risks and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Perform delay analysis, schedule impact assessments, and forensic schedule reviews where required.
• Review contractor recovery programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assess program implications arising from scope changes, variations, and contractual events.
• Ensure planning activities comply with client governance procedures, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly program reports, dashboards, and schedule performance metrics.
• Maintain program records, milestone trackers, delay registers, and change logs.
• Produce look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, recovery program, and executive reporting documentation.
• Support preparation of client presentations and senior leadership reporting.
• Maintain accurate planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Collaboration & Integration

• Work collaboratively with Project Controls, Construction, Commercial, BIM, Design, Quality, Safety, and Commissioning teams.
• Support integration between program, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project reporting activities.
• Promote planning standards, governance procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior planners and schedulers while supporting the development of the planning function.
• Foster a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused project environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related AEC discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling, and project controls methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
• Experience using Oracle Primavera Cloud, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or equivalent planning and reporting software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

What Experience We Are Looking For

• 7+ years' experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls on major construction projects.
• Previous experience as a Senior Scheduler, Senior Planner, Lead Planner, Project Controls Scheduler, or Planning Engineer .
• Experience delivering Hyperscale Data Centers, Mission Critical, Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Energy, or Infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 .
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk management, delay analysis, earned value management, and program recovery techniques.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and coordinating planning activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, EPC, or other major construction contracts is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, client-side project delivery environments.
