Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: Seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team, ensuring the highest quality of care and a positive patient experience.

Position Details

• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Night shift (19:00-07:00)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: As needed/Every third weekend

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older).
• Maintain patient ratios of 4-6:1.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement effective care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Required Skills/Experience:
  • 1+ years of nursing experience.
  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Excellent assessment skills.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment:
  • Post-operative joint care.
  • Post-operative bariatric care.
  • Post-operative gastrointestinal care.
  • Trauma patient management.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Licensure: Active RN license in the state.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH.

Work Environment

The role requires flexibility as the nurse may be asked to float to different units as necessary. The dress code is professional with scrubs allowed in any color, provided they comply with hospital policy on logos and nail designs.
