Dental Hygienist

Stonehaven Dental is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our multi-location dental practice in Texas. As a key clinical provider in our patient-first, family-oriented environment, you will deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident about their oral health. Working closely with our dentists and clinical team, you will provide dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, periodontal charting, and comprehensive oral health assessments for patients of all ages. You will take digital radiographs and intraoral images, perform oral cancer screenings, review medical histories, and help identify risk factors for caries and periodontal disease, supporting accurate diagnosis and collaborative treatment planning. A strong focus on patient education is central to this role. You will coach patients on effective home-care techniques, product selection, and the relationship between oral health and systemic health, using clear, empathetic communication to build trust and long-term relationships. You will be part of a modern, technology-forward practice, utilizing digital charting, intraoral cameras, and evidence-based protocols to support consistently excellent clinical outcomes across multiple Stonehaven Dental locations. In accordance with Texas regulations and your credentials, you may administer local anesthesia and assist with nitrous oxide monitoring to ensure optimal comfort during hygiene and periodontal procedures. You will uphold the highest standards of infection control, sterilization, OSHA compliance, and HIPAA privacy, contributing to a safe, clean, and professional environment for both patients and team members. Documentation accuracy and efficiency are important, as you will record clinical findings, treatment provided, periodontal measurements, and patient education in the electronic health record to ensure continuity of care and smooth coordination among providers.
