Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing andserving alcoholic beverages based on customer request in a timely manner, followinghealth, safety, and sanitation standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following duties are normal for thisposition. This list is not to beconstrued as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Interact withresidents and guests in a friendly, courteous manner while providing anexceptional experience
• Verifyidentification and age requirements of customers
• Mix traditionaland creative cocktails
• Use POS system toenter orders, take payments and manage inventory
• Clean glasses andbar utensils
• Determine suppliesneeded and coordinate production with serving hours
• Monitor all fooditems to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, andquality are always upheld
• Maintain orexceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
• Practice allsafety and loss prevention procedures
• Attend allin-services as required
• Responsible forfollowing all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
• Assist withproper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaningschedules
• Perform all otherreasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor

Educational Requirements andExperience :

• Minimum of oneyear experience bartending
• Able to read,write, and follow written and verbal instructions
