About the Position

Job Title: RN CVICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification - Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Must-Have: Highly motivated critical care nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment. Description: We provide care to critically ill patients. Patients often come to us with complex medical needs. Common diagnoses include cardiothoracic surgery and neuro/neurosurgery. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our team provided ICU-level care for patients with severe COVID-19 infections. This included managing patients on extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). The unit has a capacity of 15 beds. We serve adolescents through late adults. Our typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:2. Direct patient care staff includes Registered Nurses and Patient Care Technicians. We are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team and provide exceptional patient care.
