The requirements to be considered for a tractor/trailer technician position you should be able to perform and have the following skill sets:
- Perform emergency onsite repair for tractors and trailers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections
- Knowledge of equipment
- Own enough tools to perform the job
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must clean and maintain a service truck with company image in mind
