MAJOR FUNCTION: To arrange for the efficient and orderly registration of CCHN patients by ensuring that accurate patient information is collected, and that patients receive an optimum level of professionalism and office experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Registers patients for services, entering and verifying all patient demographics and billing information at time of check in. QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years receptionist/cashier or other related experience/business school training, Hospital/Medica/Office/Medical terminology preferred Ability to read, write legibly and comprehend the written and spoken word in English; basic computer literacy and ability to effectively learn new software programs required; Typing (45wpm), data entry, telephone answering etiquette, copy machine, must be physically able to sit for long periods of time, light standing and/or walking.
