Account Manager 

Location: Greater Milwaukee (Waukesha County area)
Industry: HVAC / Mechanical / MEP Construction
Salary: $120,000-$160,000 OTE

Overview

We are partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor to identify an experienced Account Manager to drive new business and manage existing client relationships within commercial and industrial markets. This role blends sales, estimating, and project oversight for design-build mechanical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow client relationships; identify and win new business
• Lead the sales process, including bids, proposals, and contract negotiation
• Estimate and scope mechanical/HVAC projects (design-build environment)
• Oversee projects through execution in partnership with operations teams
• Coordinate internally with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations

Qualifications

• ~10+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or MEP construction
• Proven success in client-facing sales or account management
• Strong background in estimating, bidding, and project coordination
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results independently

Compensation

Base + commission/bonus structure
