We are looking for a Project Finance Manager to join a growing renewable energy organization in Northern Virginia. This role will help secure and execute capital solutions across a portfolio of community solar, distributed generation, solar-plus-storage, and standalone storage assets. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external financing partners to advance projects from development through closing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead support for financing activities involving sponsor equity, tax equity, joint venture equity, and debt facilities for renewable energy projects.

• Build, refine, and manage detailed financial models used to evaluate transaction structures, project returns, and investment scenarios.

• Coordinate multiple transactions simultaneously, guiding each opportunity through diligence, documentation, negotiation, and financial close.

• Partner with development, origination, operations, and legal colleagues to align financing requirements with project execution plans.

• Assist in structuring commercial terms for solar and energy storage investments to support portfolio growth and capital deployment.

• Analyze project economics, funding assumptions, and risk factors to inform decision-making across development and acquisition efforts.

• At least 5 years of experience in project finance within renewable energy, gained at a developer, investor, lender, or similar institution.
• Strong capability in financial modeling, financial analysis, budgeting, and variance review.
• Practical understanding of accounting, tax, legal, and commercial considerations tied to renewable energy transactions.
• Familiarity with financing and contracting approaches used in community solar projects.
• Working knowledge of energy storage technologies and the market frameworks that shape storage transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, or another analytical or technical field.
• Ability to manage several priorities at once while maintaining accuracy in complex transactional work.
