As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Rover in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur02:00 AM - 10:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouse exteriors, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and visitor processing requirements.
- Assist with observing shipping and receiving areas, vehicle movement, and/or exterior conditions to help identify potential issues and support orderly site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
