Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for individuals, as well as therapy for couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide range of mental health issues.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and monitor their progress toward established goals through consistent follow-up sessions.

  • Incorporate evidence-based practices and therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy into your sessions.

  • Assist clients in identifying coping strategies and life skills necessary for managing challenges, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide any additional support necessary for clients’ well-being.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring each client's privacy and dignity are respected.

  • Engage actively in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of growth and learning within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses individuals across various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and life circumstances. Qualifications\n

  • A valid Master’s degree in counseling or a related mental health field is a requirement, alongside an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary structure, Inner Summit Counseling Services provides a comprehensive benefits package, including unlimited client referrals, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and support in managing billing and paperwork, allowing our counselors to focus on therapeutic missions.
