Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, report suspicious activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities, access control practices, and crowd management needs during busy periods, special events, and/or closing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
