Forge Line Technician

Join our forge line team as a Forge Line Technician, where you'll work as part of a dynamic 3 to 4-person team. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to learn and grow within the forging process. Responsibilities:

• Operate the forge press as part of a collaborative team
• Set up and operate the forge press and trim press
• Use work instructions and set-up sheets to guide operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Visually inspect parts produced for quality assurance
• Utilize hand tools and digital calipers for measurements
• Process necessary documentation related to production
• Operate a lift truck as needed
• Assist in setting up support equipment and processes
• Use blacksmithing tongs as required
• Perform other duties as assigned, including potentially setting up conduction heaters to make billets malleable for pressing and lubricating machines between presses

Job Requirements:

• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are welcome
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail for quality inspections
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
