Job Description

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join an Orthopedic Operating Room team in an acute care setting. This is a day shift position working 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with participation in an on-call rotation. The Surgical Tech will assist with a variety of orthopedic and spine procedures, maintain a sterile field, prepare surgical instruments and equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care. The department performs approximately 15–25 orthopedic cases per day across 4 operating suites and utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system. Initial unit orientation is typically one week, and candidates should be prepared to work weekends, holidays, and respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license required
• BLS Certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Experience scrubbing orthopedic and spine surgeries required
• Proficiency with maintaining sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Ability to work 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• Must participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations
• Must meet 30-minute call response time
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
