With a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care, our services span across: Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Dental Clinic Aqua and Physical Therapy Vision Center Learn more about us at: Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Clinical Liaison to join our team at Ezra Medical Center. This role is essential in bridging administrative and clinical operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients while supporting providers in the coordination of care. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys patient interaction, and is capable of managing both front-desk responsibilities and clinical coordination with professionalism and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive and welcoming experience. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling and confirming follow-up appointments. Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, directing inquiries appropriately. Identify patient needs, clarify information, and provide solutions or escalate concerns when necessary. Collect and process co-payments and other applicable fees. Guide patients on appropriate care under provider direction, including determining urgency and next steps. Coordinate communication between patients and providers regarding test results, including labs, radiology, and specialist reports. Process prescription refill requests under provider supervision. Assist patients with questions regarding medical concerns, past visits, and upcoming appointments. Support nurses and clinical staff as needed. Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required referrals and authorizations are obtained. Input and update patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR system. Prepare and process forms, referrals, and prior authorizations. Assist with appointment scheduling, recalls, and follow-up outreach to patients. Maintain knowledge of services, procedures, and pricing to effectively inform patients. Adhere to Ezra Medical Center’s compliance program, policies, and procedures. Report any conduct or event that may violate legal or compliance requirements. Uphold Ezra’s values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in patient care. Qualifications Education: MA/Technician Certificate, High School Diploma, College Diploma, or equivalent experience. Experience: Experience in a clinical, administrative, or healthcare setting preferred. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask effectively and work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. High level of professionalism and patient-centered approach. Additional Requirements: Must have experience or certification as a Medical Assistant. Must also have experience or demonstrated skills in administrative functions, as this role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
