Legal Support Specialist

As a legal support specialist on the House Counsel team, you'll provide administrativesupport to a group in the company's legal department. In this role, you'll generate and file standard form pleadings and correspondence, perform data entry, create document review requests, and manage contact cards. You'll collect, coordinate, and handle legal documents. You'll also process incoming and outgoing mail, as well as faxes and court filings. Additionally, you'll build new case files, prioritize existing ones, and handle file closure procedures. Must-have qualifications High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of one year experience in an administrative role. Preferred skills Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information. Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others. Strong organization skills and attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and work in a variety of system applications. Ability to adhere to and adjust to changing deadlines and follow written procedures. Location This is an in-office position, working M-F between the hours of 8AM-6PM. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute distance to the Warwick, RI, Meriden, CT or Canton, MA office.
