In this role, you'll operate Dozers, Excavators, Compactors, Trucks, and other heavy equipment while helping keep our transfer station running efficiently and safely.

Schedule

Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Saturdays as Needed

Pay $18 to $20

What You'll Do

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a key role in the daily operations of the transfer station by:

Operating Dozers, Excavators, Compactors, Trucks, and other heavy equipment

Spreading and compacting waste using heavy equipment

Spreading daily cover material using a Dozer

Excavating and moving soil with an Excavator

Hauling and transporting materials throughout the facility

Performing equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks

Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Following all company safety procedures and operating standards

Supporting overall site operations and productivity

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience

• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment

• Satisfactory driving record

• Strong commitment to safety

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to read, write, and complete daily reports and assignments

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Equipment Experience Preferred

• Dozers

• Excavators

• Compactors

• Haul Trucks

• Loaders

• Other Heavy Equipment

Work Environment

This is a hands-on, outdoor position where you'll be working around heavy equipment and active operations.

You should be comfortable:

• Working in the Florida heat
• Operating equipment for extended periods
• Working around moving vehicles and machinery
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety throughout the workday
