About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice experience Description: Candidates must be within 50 miles of the facility. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facilities. A radiation badge will be provided. A driver’s license is required and will be used to determine distance from the facility. Artificial nails are prohibited in departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to termination of the contract. Experience with GE CT scanners is required. The department utilizes GE CT scanners or Epic for imaging. The facility has 4 CT rooms, 2 MRI rooms, and other imaging rooms. Candidates may be required to float to other areas including CT, Xray, OR, Endo, and ED. Common types of imaging and studies performed vary. Attributes making a traveler successful include flexibility, positivity, and willingness to learn. Requests for time off must be submitted upfront and will be limited during the contract. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment. Charting systems used include EPIC for EMR and McKesson for PACS. On-call requirements and response times vary. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.
