QUALITY INSPECTOR

Quality Control ProfessionalS & N Machine & Fabricating Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control professional to join our team in Rothbury, MI. This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of precision and excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Inspect finished and in-process parts for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and conformance to specificationsUse precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part tolerancesDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality control recordsIdentify, tag, and report non-conforming parts and coordinate corrective actionsCollaborate with machinists and fabricators to resolve quality issues on the shop floorSupport continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production qualityEnsure compliance with customer requirements, blueprints, and internal quality standardsPrior experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing roleProficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&TStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyFamiliarity with machining and metal fabrication processes preferredGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production teamsExperience with quality documentation and reporting systems is a plusS & N Machine & Fabricating Inc is a trusted precision machining and metal fabrication company based in Rothbury, MI, proudly serving a wide range of industries with high-quality custom parts and components.
