LOCUM CRNA Assignment in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

• Dates/Schedule: July 6, ongoing
• Shift Hours: M-F with one night of Call: 7 AM - 3 PM weekdays. Call 3 PM - 7 AM
• Call Ratio: 1:5. with weekend coverage every 5th weekend. Hours 3 pm - 7 am. Responsible for Epidurals after hours. Call back for OR is rare but occasionally call CRNA will cover the OR after 1630 if cases are still running.
• Case Mix: Must be proficient in epidural placement, spinals/ITN in obese patients, and comfortable with pediatric patients. GS, Ortho, Urology, Gyn surgery, Podiatry. Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER
• # of Surgical Cases per year. 22,00. # of cases/month: 200.
• Support Staff: Established practice with experienced 4 CRNA's and 1 Anesthesiologist support
• Supervision and Ratio: Medical direction in the OR and CRNA only for endoscopy and labor and delivery
• Active License
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
