Salary Range $16.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Category Food Service

Schedule/Hours: Regular Part Time at 25 hours/week; Monday-Tuesday 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM ET

This position is responsible for: Planning, preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans menus and purchases food and supplies necessary for the preparation and serving of nutritional meals.
• Cleans, cooks, and prepares a variety of foods and beverages utilizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with acceptable and economical cooking methods.
• Ensures that enough food is prepared based on the number of people to be served and that food is prepared in a timely manner as scheduled.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.

What We Are Looking For In You:

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, AND Two or more years' experience with cooking food for large groups, private parties, residential clients, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications: Serv Safe Certification preferred. Valid Driver's License preferred.
