Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Monmouth Medical Center - Southern Campus, 600 River Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701 Department: Medical Surgical Unit V Shift: Day Employment Type: Full Time, Hourly Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.97 per hour The position is for a highly dedicated Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in the Medical Surgical Unit V at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. The Registered Nurse ensures safety in practice and incorporates evidence-based principles, maintaining a commitment to personal knowledge development and contributing to team learning. The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the patient population served. The Registered Nurse supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers. The Registered Nurse consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care, individualizing the plan of care for specific patient needs.
