This position could be located in Butte, MT or Dillon, MT. The Dental Director manages both clinics.

We will consider a 30 to 40 hour regular work week (3-5 workdays); salary indicated is for 40 hours per week and will be prorated appropriately based on FTE. Salary $172,434 - $204,408 DOE. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Candidate review begins 10/1/2024, position open until filled.

Under the general direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the Dental Director supervises the dentists and hygienists and represents the department within the organization. The Dental Director provides dental advice and counsel to the Executive Management Team, as requested. In addition, they are responsible for providing direct patient care as outlined in the Dental Director's professional contract agreement. The Dental Director is responsible for maintaining and providing clinical and administrative leadership in order to expand a program of primary and preventive dental care and fulfill the mission and vision of SWMTCHC.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferred
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, five years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred
• Strong supervisory and personnel management skills
• Administrative, management, PI, and budget development experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required

Licensure & Credentials:

• Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Montana
• Current CPR (BLS) certification required, ACLS preferred
• Montana DEA registration and Controlled Substance License
• Medicaid provider
