Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent RN experience in a Cath Lab setting, with the ability to perform multiple functions including circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing during complex interventional procedures. The RN will float routinely between multiple facilities, including Willis Knighton Medical Center, Pierremont, and Bossier, providing care across a variety of cardiac and peripheral vascular cases such as coronary artery disease, STEMI, TAVR, MitraClip, and more.


The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating call requirements including overnight shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage. Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, and possess a valid driver's license to float between facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, assess critically ill patients, and maintain sterile techniques.
• Support hybrid cases with equipment such as Impella, Rotoblaster, IABP, laser, lithotripsy, and atherectomy devices.
• Float between facilities as needed, providing coverage for diverse case types and functions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Cath Lab.
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with complex interventional procedures and equipment preferred.

Schedule & Call Details:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Call schedule includes overnight calls 2 nights per week, with a callback period of 30 minutes.
• Every 3rd or 4th weekend, rotating holiday coverage.

Additional Requirements:

• Manager approval required for floating or specific case functions.
• Orientation includes 1 week at Innovation Center and up to 1 week precepting/unit orientation.
