Job Title: Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Location: Phoenix, AZ Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Compensation: $150,000–$190,000 annually Position Overview Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. This role will manage an established caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters, primarily motor vehicle accident cases, from litigation strategy through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate has significant plaintiff-side litigation and trial experience and is comfortable independently managing a substantial caseload. The firm provides a consistent pipeline of cases and dedicated paralegal and administrative support, allowing attorneys to focus on litigation and client advocacy rather than business development. Key Responsibilities Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial. Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, medical records, and case value. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence. Conduct and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel. Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation proceedings. Prepare cases for trial and serve as first-chair or second-chair counsel as appropriate. Maintain client communication and ensure compliance with court deadlines. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other litigation team members. Mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff as needed. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active State Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Trial experience, including preparing cases through verdict. Strong settlement negotiation, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage a substantial litigation caseload. Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills. Preferred Qualifications Extensive plaintiff-side personal injury experience. Catastrophic injury litigation experience. First-chair jury trial experience. Mediation and settlement negotiation expertise. Experience mentoring litigation staff. Compensation and Benefits $150,000–$190,000 annual salary.
