About the Role We are seeking an energetic and experienced Dispensary Supervisor I to join our team. The Dispensary Supervisor I is responsible for leading the frontline team in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting retail execution. This role emphasizes mentorship, service excellence, and a hands‑on approach to store operations. In the absence of the General Manager and Dispensary Supervisor II, the Dispensary Supervisor I must oversee all store operations. Responsibilities Guide the crew through day‑to‑day operations, supporting Patient Care Coordinators and Customer Service representatives. Mentor new hires and support onboarding. Step up as Manager on Duty when needed. Deliver real‑time coaching and occasional course‑correction to help your team grow. Tackle escalated customer/patient concerns with grace and empathy. Set the gold standard for service and train others to meet it. Keep front‑of‑house shelves stocked and product delivery intake as needed. Ensure smooth, accurate drawer operation and approve returns and discounts with integrity. Follow proper procedures to keep cash flow secure and verify IDs, intake info, and track products with precision. Utilize POS and inventory tracking systems. Educate staff and customers on cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Assist customers through the ordering process and drive sales by upselling and highlighting promos. Open and close the store and uphold all security measures and safety policies. Support the dispensary management team in ensuring company standards, compliance policies, and Maryland state regulations are followed. Work a flexible schedule, 40 hours a week, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Qualifications Must be 21 or older. Minimum 1+ year of retail leadership or management experience. Proactive, strong work ethic, attention to detail, strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills. Consistently meet timeliness in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively under pressure. Open to constructive, developmental feedback. Proficient with standard office equipment and computer software. Must pass all required background checks and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for the industry. Open availability for days, nights, and weekends; reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance. Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and move boxes up to 50 lb. What We Offer Compensation: $22–$24 per hour.
