Picture your day: you arrive for a quick safety huddle, review a simple blueprint, verify your set-up, and bring steel to life using processing equipment. You stage material with a forklift or overhead crane (keeping certifications current), check part dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and document quality results before handing off to the next operation. You close the shift by tidying your area and preparing the machine for the incoming team. That’s a typical day for a Machine Operator I at O’Neal Manufacturing Services.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50/HR. Paid Weekly .

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM ($1.00 Shift Differential ).
• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM ($1.50 Shift Differential ).

• Safety Commitment: Bring a safety-first mindset to every task, from set-up to shut-down.
• Machine Operation: Set up and run one or more processing machines to produce parts to spec.
• Quality and Accuracy: Inspect work against drawings; use measurement tools to confirm precision.
• General Duties: Material handling, housekeeping, and other duties that keep production moving.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail with basic critical-thinking skills.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation; able to obtain/maintain required certifications.
• Able to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Comfortable with common hand tools: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander.
• Competent with measuring tools: tape measure, box calipers, slide dial calipers, micrometers.
• Can convert fractions to decimals and metric to English measurements.
• Track record of producing quality work.
• Capable of setting up and operating one or more processing machines.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand conversational English.

• Stand and walk for prolonged periods, including 2–5 miles per shift.
• Repeated bending, sitting, standing, twisting, and stooping for extended periods.
• Lift and carry 25–50 lbs from floor to waist; front-carry 25–50 lbs repeatedly per shift.
• Reach overhead; squat, kneel, and climb short ladders or steps.
• Good hand-finger coordination for precise grasping and manipulation.
• Read labels, follow safety and standard operating procedures, and communicate effectively in an industrial setting.
• 20/30 visual acuity with corrective lenses.
