Material Handler

We are looking for a dependable Material Handler with sit-down forklift experience to join our team. In this position, you will manage the movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods throughout our facility. You will play a critical role in keeping our production lines supplied, maintaining inventory precision, and keeping warehouse operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Material Movement & Staging: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders. Safely transport, store, and label inventory in designated locations, and supply production lines on schedule.

Forklift & Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move heavy stock. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections, report maintenance issues, and manage routine upkeep (e.g., battery charging or refueling).

Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Update tracking databases to accurately reflect material receipts, internal transfers, usage, and adjustments.

Proactive Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels at production stations, anticipate shortages, and coordinate with supply chain or procurement teams to trigger timely replenishment.

Documentation & Safety: Keep accurate digital and paper records of all material transactions. Adhere strictly to warehouse safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and proper PPE protocols.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
