RN - Dialysis


Job Details:


• Variable flex shifts of 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours with variable start times based on patient and clinic need
• Shifts can start as early as 5:00 AM and be scheduled as late as 7:30 PM for 12-hour shifts
• PM shift starts at noon for 8 hours in the outpatient clinic
• Day/PM (Evening) rotation
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement 2 times per week as needed, including every other weekend when working - weekend call may require two shifts with a 1-hour response time
• Assignment coverage includes both inpatient and outpatient RN and PCT roles based on need (50/50 split)
• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• Float only between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Inpatient patient ratio: 1:4 with dialysis tech, or 1:1 in ICU units; outpatient ratio: 1:8
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required with previous dialysis experience in an inpatient setting required
• Prior CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis experience required
• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Scrub color: any color

The organization supports both inpatient and outpatient dialysis services, including specialized care in ICU settings with access to advanced treatments such as CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis. The facility maintains a Trauma Level II designation and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system, reflecting a commitment to high-quality, technology-driven patient care.
