We care for you. Position Overview Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist. Pet Vet Battlewood in Franklin, Tennessee, has been caring for Franklin’s pets since 1996! We are a five doctor General Practice that provides a wide range of preventative and medical services. To ensure our patients receive the quality care they deserve, our hospital is extremely well equipped with in‑house lab work, digital x‑ray, ultrasound, oxygen cages and EKG services. We are a team of committed, compassionate veterinary professionals with the experience required to operate our veterinary hospital with the excellence that pet owners and the staff that serve them expect. We treat every patient, client and staff member as a unique entity and tailor to the particular needs of each individual. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments. Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products. Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records. Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Excellent customer service skills and experience, providing courteous and prompt assistance. Scheduling experience. Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience in a veterinary medicine setting preferred.
